We hope you are enjoying our first Issue of Metanarratives, our new quarterly e-Magazine focused on Art, Politics, and Activism.
We are now seeking submissions for our second issue and we’d love to hear from you!
Our next issue will focus on Art as an Act of Resistance.The institutions that were meant to represent us have stopped pretending to. Our governments close borders and choose warfare over welfare while we live through one of the hottest summers on record. So we ask — how can art help us resist this dangerous moment?
In a world where even the concept of resistance itself is curated and commodified, we want work that resists anyway.
Send your poems, prose, artwork, philosophical musings, reviews and everything in between to submissions@metanarratives.org by 1 September 2026.

Please limit prose to 1,000 words (if you’re interested in a longer piece, pitch it to us first).

Written submissions should be sent as a Word document; artwork as high-resolution image files.

Please include a bio of no more than 100 words to accompany your submission.

Submissions should be in English only for now — we’re a small team and can only edit in English at this stage.
