The gallery space of the Association of Fine Artists of Serbia has had several locations in the past, and since 1989 it is located in the heart of Belgrade, in the pedestrian zone, at 37 Knez Mihailova Street. This renowned exhibition space features most important visual artists from the country and the region. ULUS is an organizer of current artistic production in the field of visual arts at this venue. The gallery program is managed by the ULUS Art Council on the basis of public competitions that are annually announced to the artists. For the production of the exhibiting programs, ULUS Gallery is participating at public contests in culture proposed by the city authorities, Ministry of Culture and other donors.
Annually, Gallery hosts over 20 solo art shows and runs several group shows and guests’ programs. In 2020, the Artistic Council proposed the creation of the ULUS INFO CENTER in the BG Postcard space, which exists within the Gallery. This point should be a lively spot of interaction through which citizens and the wider audience will be informed about current art events organized by the Association.
